Recipe for Prawns Pickle[Indian Style]

This is a Recipe for Prawns Pickle [Indian Style], called Jhinge Ka Achar in Hindi and Kolambiche Loncha in Marathi. This dish has been prepared in the traditional and authentic Indian style of cooking. This Prawns pickle if refrigerated lasts for at least a week. A nice add on to the main course.

Preparation Time: 45 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients
1 Cup Prawns (Cleaned and Deveined)
1 Tea spoon Turmeric
! Tea spoon Salt
10-12 Red Dried Chilis
1 Tea spoon Jeera
1 Tea spoon Coriander seeds
10-12 Cloves Garlic
1” Ginger
½ Cup Coriander
Lemon Juice of 2 Lemons
½ Cup Oil

Preparation
Clean and wash the Prawns then apply the Turmeric and Salt and keep aside.
Then grind the Coriander seeds, Red Dried Chilies, Jeera, Ginger, Garlic and Coriander, this is the Green Masala.
Then Heat the Oil in the frying pan then add the Prawns and fry them, keep the lid on it and cook on a slow sim.
After that add the grounded Green Masala and fry till dry. When it cools add the Lemon juice and fill in a Jar.
