Recipe for Navratan Korma

This Recipe is for preparing at home the very popular and in demand dish of Navratan Korma. This is a rich and delicious main course dish, which can be prepared in the Restaurant or Dhaba Style of Cooking by following this simple and easy to understand recipe.

Preparation Time: 45 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients
3 Cups of Vegetables – Green Peas, Carrot, Capsicum, Beans, Cauliflower & Potato (cut in medium size)
3 Onions
8 -10 cloves Garlic
4 – 5 Greens Chilies
1” Ginger
2 Big Tomatoes (boiled & make Puree)
½ Tea spoon Red Chili Powder
½ Tea spoon Turmeric powder
1 Cup Coconut
5 – 6 Cashew nuts, Apple Pieces, Sweet Lime pieces, 5 -6 dry Cherries, 8 – 10 pieces of Paneer & Shredded Paneer
2 Table spoon fresh cream
Salt and Sugar to taste

Preparation
Heat the Oil in the frying pan add Vegetable pieces and fry till cooked. And keep aside.
Grind the Onion, Ginger, Garlic, Chili, Coconut, red Chili powder, Turmeric and fry till color changes in to pink. Then add the Tomato Puree fry till dry.
Then add 2 cups of water, Salt & Sugar and the Fresh Cream.
After that add the cooked Vegetables and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Then add the Fruits, Dry fruits & Paneer
Serve hot with Parathas.
