Recipe for Tandoori Fried Chicken

This is a recipe for preparing at home restaurant or dhaba style Crisp and Spicy Tandoori Chicken. Tandoori Fried Chicken is a most popular and in demand Chicken dish in India.

Preparation Time: 60 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients
1 large chicken
1 tea spoon salt
½ tea spoon chili powder
1 table spoon lemon juice
½ table spoon cumin seed powder
½ tea spoon garam masala
¾ tea spoon poppy seeds
1 table spoon curd
A few drops of red coloring
Oil for frying
2 table spoon Kasuri Methi [fenugreek leaf powder]
Lemon juice

Preparation
Firstly cut the chicken into large sized pieces and then add water, salt and chili powder and boil it till it becomes almost tender and the water dries up.
Then remove the chicken from the frying pan and apply the lemon juice, cumin seed powder, garam masala.poppy seeds, curd and the red coloring and marinate for approximately two hours.
Then heat the oil in the frying pan and fry the chicken pieces till they turn golden brown.
Sprinkle the Kasuri Methi on it along with the lemon juice.
Serve hot.
