Recipe for Shahi Mutton Chops

This Recipe is for preparing the famous Mughlai Restaurant Style Shahi Mutton Chops. Shahi means royal and these are Mutton Chops prepared in the regal Mughlai style of cooking.

Preparation Time: 60 Minutes
Serves: 6-7 Persons

Ingredients
1 kg Mutton chops
100 grams Khoya [whole dried milk]
½ cup Cashew nuts
250 grams finely chopped Onion
250 grams Tomato Puree
½ cup Malai [fresh cream]
2 Tea spoon grounded Ginger Garlic
Garam Masala
1 Tea spoon Turmeric powder
4 Tea spoon Ghee
Salt to taste

Preparation
Heat Ghee. Fry Onion to a light pink color. Add Mutton chops. Add masalas. Fry on fire for 10 minutes
Add khoya on stirring. Add tomato puree and water to cook chops. When the chops are tender, add Malai.
Serve hot.
