Recipe for Butter Chicken

This is a unique recipe for preparing at home tasty and delicious Butter Chicken. This dish is a Sunday Special Non-Veg Dish for the main course.

Preparation Time: 60 Minutes
Serves: 5-6 Persons

Ingredients
1 Broiler Chicken (boneless)
1 Big Onion (minced)
1 ½ Tea Spoon Coriander powder
1 ½ Tea spoon Ginger- Garlic paste
1 ½ Tea Cup Curds (not too sour)
1 Tea spoon Jeera powder
6-8 Cashew Nuts
2 Blanched Chopped Walnuts
Salt to taste
100 g Butter
1 ½ Tea spoon Chili powder
1 ½ Tea spoon Turmeric powder
2 Big Red Tomatoes blanched
½ Teaspoon Garam Masala powder
6-8 Blanched Almonds
1 Tea spoon brandy
1 pinch of orange red color
100 gram Cream

Recipe
Heat three-quarter of the butter. Fry onion till red in color. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for some time. Add chopped tomatoes. Add all the powder masala and cook till the tomatoes gets smooth. Then add the shredded chicken. (See note below) Add salt and fry the chicken well. Put enough water (half to one cup) and cook till chicken is tender and dry. Add brandy. Add the curds and cream and remaining quarter butter, simmer till gravy thickens. Add the nuts and chopped coriander leavers and decorate with lemon and tomatoes; or garnish with silver foil.

Note: The chicken may be pricked and marinated with curds and brandy and salt. After 2-3 hours. Put in a microwave oven at 100 power for 8 minutes. Then remove the flesh from the bones and keep aside. You may make and use a tandoori chicken.
